When you purchase books from us, we pay the shipping cost (to U.S. addresses only). We typically process orders within 2-3 days and ship purchased books via USPS Media Mail or First Class Mail. Please contact us at or via our Contact form if you are interested in purchasing books on a tax-exempt basis, for subsequent resale, in bulk quantities, for expedited delivery, or for delivery to international destinations.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is calculated based on the shipping address and reflects the policies in effect for that tax jurisdiction.

Order Cancellations

The ability to cancel an order is dependent on its current status. Orders that have already been prepared for shipment cannot be canceled. If your order has not yet shipped, please contact us at regarding cancellation inquiries. In certain circumstances, we may need to cancel your order. If so, we will promptly issue you a refund.


Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have elapsed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, the book you purchased must be unused and in the same condition it was when  you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.


Once your return is received and inspected by us, we will send you an email letting you know that we have received it. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 10 days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If it doesn’t appear that you received your refund within 10 days , contact your bank and/or credit card issuer, as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted. If you’ve taken these steps and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at

Sale Items

Only regular-priced books may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.


We only replace books if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange what you purchased for the same item, contact us at and we will make arrangements for the return of your defective or damaged book at no cost to you.


If the book was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned book is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you. If the book wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the purchaser arranged for the book to be shipped to them (to give to you later), we will process a refund for the account of the purchaser (who will be aware of your return).

Except in cases involving defective or damaged items, you will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning your purchased books. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged item to reach us may vary. You may want to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we don’t guarantee that we will receive what you send to us.
